New Delhi, July 9 (IANS) TADO, The Artisan and Deli Oven — a premier bakery house and one-stop-deli for offers takeaway as well as dine-in options — has opened doors at the Vivanta by Taj-Surajkund, Delhi NCR.
Lined with gleaming glass cases filled with appetising cakes, pastries, breads, cheese and charcuterie, TADO offers an artisanal space with in-house conventional recipes made with organic ingredients.
“Artisanal Deli confers bespoke patisserie items personalised keeping in view ‘on-the-go’ contemporary lifestyles. In addition to the sweet delicacies, we offer snacks, salads and organic dips. This will elevate the casual dining options for the audiences in the vicinity area,” Rajeev Khanna, general manager, Vivanta by Taj-Surajkund, Delhi NCR, said in a statement.
“Apart from serving delicatessens, the idea is to curate a space where students, youngsters, children and families can sit out for quick bites,” he added.
The raw components used to curate the TADO menu are unique whole elements like pure honey, wheat flour, millet flour, omega seed oils and in-house preparations of fruit mixtures.
It also serves a range of crude beverages including green teas with medicinal herbs, masala tea with untreated spices and powdered organic coffee which act as anti-oxidants.
The menu will range from handmade artisan breads, hot/cold canapés starters; custom-made portion of salads and dips, mixed bag of ready-to-eat vegetarian and non vegetarian sandwich spreads along with cold meat options.
“TADO creates high quality dough from the finest organic ingredients and offers secret enriching home grown recipes, ensuring that nothing less than the exceptional pastry and snacks is delivered. Use of organic elements in our recipes is the USP of all artisanal products offered like mix fiber-grain bread, multigrain as well as natural French baguette,” TADO’s executive chef Ganesh Joshi said.
TADO is derived from the German word “delikatessen”, which means delicacies or fine food.
