New Delhi, Aug 11 (IANS) The rising trend in the number of dengue cases in the national capital continued with 17 more confirmed cases being reported Wednesday, an official said.
‘Seventeen more people have tested positive for dengue in Delhi today (Wednesday) though there were no deaths,’ N.K. Yadav, chief medical officer of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD), told IANS.
A total of 157 people have been infected by the mosquito-borne disease in the city this year, he said.
One person has died due to dengue this year in Delhi.
