London, May 4 (Inditop) Former Spice girl Geri Halliwell has adopted a pair of white lion cubs, a male and a female, and says she is delighted to have them as part of her family.
The singer has named the three-week-olds Rudi and Aphrodite, reported newsoftheworld.co.uk.
“I’m passionate about wildlife conversation, I love animals, especially lions. I’m delighted to add Rudi and Aphrodite to my family,” said Halliwell.
But the 36-year-old will only have a certificate that suggests her adoption. The cubs will have to remain at Paradise Wildlife Park, Hertfordshire, where they were born.
However, the wildlife centre in Hertfordshire will let her have access and give her regular updates on their progress.
It is one of only two wildlife parks in Britain to have the rare white lions.
