London, May 19 (Inditop.com) Nude black and white photographs of supermodel Kate Moss, showing her crouching on sand, are to go under the hammer.

Over a dozen photographs were taken in 1993 and are likely to fetch up to 30,000 pounds when they are sold Friday, The Telegraph reported Wednesday.

Photographer Albert Watson shot Moss without clothes or jewellery when she was in her late teens.

Moss is today one of the world’s most photographed women.

“The photographs are like looking through a keyhole into an intimate moment and they draw you in. There is an intimacy between the photographer and his muse. She is crouching trying to hide as much of her body as possible,” Alexander Montague-Sparey, photography expert from Christie’s auction house which is selling the photos, was quoted as saying.

“There are those who collect Watson photographs and Kate Moss is very commercial and they are a safe investment.”
