Lucknow, Jan 18 (IANS) A cold and sunny day greeted residents of Lucknow Tuesday morning, with the weather office saying similar conditions would prevail for the next couple of days.

The state meteorological department said the chill would continue to grip parts of Uttar Pradesh, including Lucknow, but days would be sunny.

‘Such a weather pattern would remain stable and continue to prevail for the next two-three days,’ he added.

At least 128 people have died of intense cold across the state in this winter season.
