New Delhi, July 20 (Inditop.com) Home Minister P. Chidambaram Monday visited the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) headquarters here and asked the force to adopt new technologies and new management principles.

“CISF is being given newer responsibilities and it should adopt new technologies and new management principles to continue as an elite force,” a press statement issued by the CISF quoted Chidambaram as saying.

Chidambaram and Home Secretary G.K. Pillai visited the CISF to address the operational conference of senior officers of the force.

CISF Director General Niraj Ranjan Das briefed them about the steps being taken to make the force more effective in countering terrorism and Maoism.
