New Delhi, Dec 2 (IANS) It was a sunny day after a chilly morning in the capital Sunday with the maximum at 24.5 Celsius, a degree below the average. Monday is likely to be the same with a clear sky after a misty morning.
The minimum temperature settled at 7.8 degrees Celsius, a notch below average for this time of the year.
The Met office has forecast a clear sky but mist early morning Monday.
“The sky will be clear but mist will remain on Monday morning,” an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official said.
“The maximum temperature is expected to reach 24 degrees Celsius while minimum is likely to be seven degree Celsius,” the IMD official added.
Saturday’s maximum temperature dropped two notches below average at 23.1 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature settled on average at 10.1 degrees Celsius.
