New Delhi, Nov 3 (Inditop.com) After usually waking up to sunny mornings, Delhiites woke up to a rather gloomy Tuesday as a cloud cover enveloped the city early in the day.
According to officials of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) the cloud cover was formed because of western disturbances.
“The western disturbances have resulted in the cloudy skies and the misty morning that the capital has seen today. Although there will be no drastic fall in the temperature, the evening will be chilly,” an IMD official said.
The minimum temperature recorded at 8.30 a.m. Tuesday was a slight dip from the day before, at 15.5 degrees Celsius. This was a notch above the average.
On Monday, the minimum temperature was 15.7 degrees Celsius.
The maximum day temperature is expected to hover around 31 degrees Celsius.
