New Delhi, Feb 19 (IANS) A 30-year-old property dealer was shot dead in north Delhi by four motorcycle-borne assailants due to personal rivalry, police said Saturday.
Zubair, a resident of Indira Enclave of north Delhi, was shot dead by unidentified four assailants in Aman Vihar area of north Delhi Friday night, Delhi Police officials said.
A small-time property dealer, Zubair was walking home when he was killed, the officials said.
‘He worked as a property dealer and was walking home when four people riding on two bikes accosted him and shot at him,’ the official said.
‘They shot five rounds from a point blank range and escaped from the spot,’ he said.
The man was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared brought dead.
‘It seems like a case of business or personal rivalry. We are talking to friends and relatives and hope to reach the culprits soon,’ the official said.
