Ghaziabad, May 1 (IANS) Dentist Nupur Talwar woke up early Tuesday and had a simple breakfast of gur-chana with tea after spending a night in Dasna jail in connection with the 2008 twin murders of her daughter Aarushi and the family’s domestic help Hemraj.

According to jail superintendent Viresh Raj Sharma, Talwar interacted with her fellow prisoners and claimed innocence. She shared barrack number 13 with 70 other women inmates.
Talwar woke up around 5.30 a.m. and had a simple breakfast of jaggery and roasted bengal gram with tea, Sharma said.
“No special treatment was given to her,” Sharma told IANS.
Talwar was taken into custody Monday morning, shortly after surrendering before the Central Bureau of Investigation’s (CBI) special judge S. Lal, who rejected her plea for interim bail, making it mandatory for her to spend Monday night in jail.
The court is to consider her regular bail plea Tuesday.
