New Delhi, July 12 (IANS) Five students were injured Monday when they were hit by a mini-bus that overturned in north Delhi, police said.
The accident occurred around 7.30 a.m. near the Wazirabad bridge when the driver lost control while taking a U-turn. The students who were hurt were walking to school when the vehicle hit them.
‘The bus overturned as it was overloaded. The five students were shifted to a hospital. They are out of danger,’ a police officer said.
The owner and the driver of the bus have been arrested, he added.
