New Delhi, Aug 24 (IANS) Incessant heavy rains Tuesday morning caused waterlogging at many places in Delhi, leading to traffic jams. Many Delhiites had a tough time navigating through flooded roads as they headed out to meet relatives on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan.
Traffic snarls worsened as the downpour increased, slowed the movement of vehicles to a crawl in several areas.

The met office predicted more rainfall in the day as well as during the week.
‘The sky will be cloudy with rains through the day. One or two spells may be heavy. The rainfall is likely to continue in the coming days,’ a met official said.
‘A low pressure circulation had earlier moved over Delhi from the Bay of Bengal, also bringing much rains,’ an official said.
