New Delhi, April 14 (Inditop.com) The capital Wednesday witnessed yet another hot and dry day after a cool breeze gave some respite to Delhiites in the morning.

“The cold breeze for few hours in the morning was due to a dip in the minimum temperature to 24.1 degrees Celsius — which still was around four degrees above the average,” said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) here.

But it was a hot and dry day as the maximum temperature touched 41.2 degrees, five degrees above average, the IMD official said.

He said the humidity level dropped to 38 percent during the day from 47 percent in the morning.

The season’s highest daytime temperature so far was 41.6 degrees Sunday.
