New Delhi, July 10 (IANS) Delhi will remain hot Saturday, but it could rain in the evening, the weather office said.
The maximum temperature will soar a notch above average at 36 degrees Celsius, said an official of the India Meteorological Department. The minimum was four notches above average at 30.5 degrees.
No rains were witnessed in the city since Friday.
The official said rains may come later in the day. ‘The sky will remain cloudy with possibility of light rain or thundershowers in the evening.’
The capital has recorded nearly 23 percent more rains than average for this part of the year.
