New Delhi, April 30 (IANS) The weekend began on a scorching note for Delhiites Saturday as the city recorded the hottest April morning of the year, with the minimum temperature four notches above average at 27.9 degrees Celsius.
According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the maximum temperature is expected to hover around 41 degrees Celsius.
‘There is no possibility of rain in the next couple of days and the temperature will rise further,’ added the IMD official.
The humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 34 percent.
