New Delhi, April 21 (IANS) The minimum temperature recorded early Thursday was four notches below the average in the capital, but the met department forecast a warm day ahead.

‘The minimum temperature recorded this morning was 19.2 degrees Celsius, which is four degrees below the average for this time of the year,’ an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official told IANS.

‘The skies are expected to be clear with the maximum temperature hovering around 36 degrees,’ he added.

The humidity level recorded at 8.30 a.m. was 47 percent.
