Bokaro, Feb 13 (IANS) A karate player named Sikandar, due to take part in the ongoing National Games, was allegedly beaten up by a group of people in Jharkhand’s Bokaro district, police said Sunday.
Sikandar was beaten up at a house late Saturday by four people and later was warned against attending the National Games. Four people barged into the Sikandar’s house situated in Lalpania of Bokaro district at 12.30 p.m. Saturday.
He was beaten up black and blue. He has been admitted in local hospital for treatment. He had to take part in the karate event which begins Sunday.
