New Delhi, Nov 6 (Inditop.com) Delhiites woke up to a misty morning Friday, with the minimum temperature a notch above average. The weatherman has predicted a clear sunny day and similar conditions during the weekend.
The minimum temperature recorded by the India Meteorological Department (IMD) at 8.30 a.m. Friday was 15.2 degrees Celsius, a degree above the average for the past few years.
“The maximum temperature is expected to touch 30 degrees Celsius and the minimum could lower to 14 degrees Celsius,” an IMD official said.
He added that although western disturbances could cause a slight “rise in temperatures over the next few days”, the coming days would be pleasant.
The IMD website indicated that it may be partly cloudy on Saturday evening in Delhi and neighbouring areas.
As winter is slowly setting in for some, so is the urge to laze.
“I have pulled out my winter clothes and am using a soft blanket at night. I can feel that winter has set in because I don’t feel like getting out of my warm bed in the morning and want to laze,” said 24-year-old Arushi Sengupta, an editor with a publishing house here.
