New Delhi, July 12 (IANS) Delhi Monday saw rains in some parts of the city, while humidity at a high of 90 percent made people sweat.
According to an official of the India Meteorological Department, there was 9.6 mm of rainfall in the city, which has so far received 129.1 mm of showers. This is four percent more than the average.
The maximum temperature hovered at 36 degrees Celsius, while the minimum was 28 degrees Celsius, a notch above average. The humidity oscillated between a high of 90 percent and a low of 60 percent.
Weathermen predicted that there will be partly cloudy sky in the next 24 hours with chances of rains and thunderstorms in some areas of the city.
The maximum and minimum will be around 37 and 28 degrees Celsius respectively Tuesday, officials said.
