New Delhi, July 24 (Inditop.com) Residents of Delhi woke up to pleasant weather Friday as a cool breeze swept the national capital following monsoon showers.
The capital received 13.6 mm of rainfall till 8.30 a.m., which brought down the minimum temperature to 26.3 degrees Celsius — a notch below the average. However, humidity rose to 95 percent.
“The skies will remain cloudy with possibility of two or three spells of rainfall during the day,” said an official at the Safdarjung met office.
The pleasant weather brought respite to residents of Delhi who were facing muggy weather in the past few days.
“The weather was so good this morning. I stepped out for a morning walk after a long time. I wish it continues to rain for a few more days,” said Pallavi Jain, a homemaker.
The met office has forecast that the maximum and minimum temperature will hover around 37 degrees Celsius and 27 degrees Celsius Friday.
