Greater Noida, Oct 29 (IANS) Red Bull looked set for a strong show in the qualifying for the India Grand Prix Saturday as Sebastian Vettel topped the time sheets in the third practice session and teammate Mark Webber finished third.
The track got the better for driving as Vettel’s fastest lap of 1 minute 24.824 seconds beat the expected time in the 1:25 bracket done on the simulator.
McLaren’s Jenson Button was second on 1:25.191 followed by Mark Webber, who clocked 1:25.203.
Force India’s Paul di Resta and Adrian Sutil swapped positions from the second practice Friday, recording the seventh and ninth fastest time of 1:26.785 and 1:26.958.
Hispania’s Narain Karthikeyan was 22nd with 1:30.900.
The qualifying session will take place later in the day.
