New Delhi, Sep 12 (Inditop.com) After three days of continuous rain, the national capital got a breather Saturday morning, but a fine drizzle ensured high moisture levels and cool weather. Met officials said light rains could be expected later in the day.

Till Saturday morning Delhi had recorded 11 mm rains.

“Till 8.30 a.m. (Saturday) 11 mm rainfall was recorded. During the day an overcast sky with light rains is predicted. Towards the evening the sky will become partly cloudy,” a met official told Inditop.

The weather will remain pleasant with the maximum temperature hovering around 28 degrees Celsius and minimum around 22 degrees Celsius.

A decline in the rainfall is expected due to weakening of the cyclonic circulation over Madhya Pradesh and the low pressure system over Uttar Pradesh.

“The cyclonic circulation over Madhya Pradesh and low pressure over Uttar Pradesh is weakening. Due to this there will be a decline in the rainfall,” said the official.

A break in the heavy rains also gave Delhiites a breather from the water logging and consequent traffic snarls.
