New Delhi, April 4 (IANS) A 16-year-old girl committed suicide by shooting herself with a gun at her house here, police said Thursday. She was depressed due to a family dispute.
“Puja shot herself with her grandfather’s licensed gun at her house in Palam area in west Delhi,” said a police officer, adding that no suicide note was recovered.
Puja was alone at her house when the incident took place. Hearing the sound of the firing of a bullet, her grandmother rushed to her room where she was lying in a pool of blood on the floor.
A gun shot injury was been found on her neck, officer said.
Police said she was depressed as her mother got separated from her father due to family dispute.
