New Delhi, June 5 (IANS) Amid a dust haze, the capital Saturday recorded a maximum temperature of 36.6 degrees Celsius, four degrees below the average.

The last time when the maximum temperature was recorded at 36 degrees on June 5 was in 2006. After that, it has always been hovering around 40 degrees Celsius on this date.

According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the maximum temperature recorded Friday was 39 degrees Celsius.

The minimum temperature Sasturday was recorded at one degree below the average at 26.6 degrees Celsius.

The humidity recorded Saturday was 52 percent.
