New Delhi, March 31 (IANS) Delhi saw a sunny and warm day Thursday but the weather office has forecast thunderstorms for Friday.

The national capital recorded a minimum of 19.2 degrees Celsius, a notch above the average, while the maximum settled at 33.4 degrees Celsius — normal for this time of the season.

‘Friday will be a clear day but it is expected to turn partly cloudy towards the evening with a possibility of thunderstorm in the night,’ an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official said.

The maximum and minimum temperatures Friday are expected to settle around 34 and 19 degrees Celsius respectively.

The humidity was recorded between 20 percent and 66 percent.
