Mumbai, Aug 17 (IANS) Bollywood filmmaker Imtiaz Ali, who managed to convince Shammi Kapoor to make an appearance in his film ‘Rockstar’, says he feels blessed that the veteran actor agreed to be do the movie.

‘I’m blessed that Shammi-ji agreed to be part of ‘Rockstar’. He is a wonderful person and it’s truly an experience to work with him,’ Ali told IANS. He also says that it’s his duty to work with all the Kapoors one by one.

‘Rockstar’ has Ranbir Kapoor in the lead. In the past, Ali has worked with other Kapoors like Kareena Kapoor in ‘Jab We Met’ and Rishi Kapoor in ‘Love Aaj Kal’.

Bobby Deol no more interested in parties

Bollywood actor Bobby Deol, who is usually absent from Page 3 parties, says he refrains from them because parties bore him.

‘I get bored in parties now. It’s not that I don’t go out, I do go out, but it’s very rare now. For me the idea of fun now is spending time with my family and my very close friends,’ Bobby told IANS.

The actor will be seen in his first supernatural thriller ‘Help’ Aug 13.

Rajat Kapoor prefers doing independent films

Versatile actor Rajat Kapoor, who is usually seen in small-budget films, says he prefers to be a part of an independent small film than doing a very small role in a big budget film.

‘I have always been a little more inclined towards independent films. For me doing a big meaningful role in a small film is more important than doing a small, blink and miss role in a big multi-starrer film,’ Rajat told IANS.

The actor, who will be seen in yet another small budget film ‘And Once Again’ Aug 20, has his kitty full with other projects as well.
