Thiruvananthapuram, Jan 4 (IANS) Former Kerala chief minister V.S. Achuthanandan Friday defended his party workers who were thrown out of the CPI-M last month after an inquiry found them guilty of leaking official information of the party to the media.

“They have done no wrong. I will bring this to the attention of the central committee of the party,” the CPI-M leader said.
Those who were sacked include press secretary to Achuthanandan, K. Balakrishnan; additional private secretary V.K. Sasidharan and personal assistant A. Suresh.
