New Delhi, April 21 (Inditop) If coalition partners criticise the ruling party on the eve of the elections, it should not be taken seriously, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh said Tuesday.
“We are a coalition government. This coalition came into existence after the last elections in 2004. In a coalition if one colleague criticises another on the eve of the elections, I do not think we should take a tragic view of this,” Manmohan Singh said in in an interview to Times Now television.
He was responding to allegations by his cabinet colleagues, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad and Lok Janshakti Party’s Ram Vilas Paswan, that along with the Bharatiya Janata Party, the Congress was also responsible for the 1992 demolition of the Babri Masjid in Ayodhya.
