Ashok Kumar Singh was arrested by the Delhi Police Anti-Corruption Branch after a complaint was filed by the Directorate of Education.
Singh heads the senior secondary school at Nithari. The Rs.27,35,870 he allegedly stole was earmarked for subsidized uniform, free text books and other areas of students’ welfare. He is currently under suspension.
