Bhopal, Aug 15 (IANS) Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan Sunday said development is the top priority of his government.
‘Development is surely the top priority of the government. In fact, industrial development is in fast pace in the state. Increased investment amount is also coming in,’ Chouhan said in his 20-minute Independence Day speech here at the historic Lal Parade Ground after hoisting the national flag.
He said the government was doing its best for the all-round development of the state and for making agriculture a profitable sector.
‘Our rising growth rate is evident of how the state is on the fast track of development. I will strive hard to improve the people’s quality of life and help the state in becoming economically stronger,’ remarked Chouhan.
A colourful cultural programme presented by students of various schools was the highlight of the 90-minute Independence Day function.
