New Delhi, Jan 23 (IANS) Delhi was engulfed by dense fog with cold Saturday morning as the minimum temperature was recorded at 4.6 degrees Celsius, three notches below the season’s average, the weather office said.

The sky will be clear throughout the day and the maximum temperature is likely to hover around 19 degrees Celsius, an official of the India Meteorological Department said.
Visibility at 8.30 a.m. was 300 metres while at 5.30 a.m., it was less than 50 metres.
According to the weather office, the humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 100 percent.
Delhi on Friday was the season’s coldest day with the minimum temperature recorded at 4.2 degrees Celsius, three notches below the season’s average while the maximum temperature settled at 17.7 degrees Celsius, four notches below the season’s average.
