New Delhi, May 6 (IANS) It was a hot Wednesday in the national capital as the maximum temperature settled four notches above the season’s average at 42.7 degrees Celsius. No relief is expected on Thursday, the Met Office said.
According to the India Meteorological Department, the sky on Thursday will remain clear and the afternoon will be hot.
Thursday’s maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 43 and 25 degrees Celsius, respectively.
Wednesday’s minimum temperature was recorded at 24.5 degrees Celsius, slightly below the season’s average.
The day’s maximum humidity was recorded at 57 percent.
Tuesday’s maximum temperature was recorded at 40.8 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season’s average, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 21.3 degrees Celsius — four notches below the season’s average.
