Patna, Sep 29 (IANS) Unhappy over distribution of ticket for the Bihar elections, activists of the ruling Janata Dal-United Wednesday ransacked the party office here.
They shouted slogans denouncing party leaders for nominating new faces and denying dedicated party leaders.
The protest took place a day after local dailies reported the probable list of candidates. The JD-U is yet to release the first list of candidates.
Sources in JD-U said half-a-dozen JD-U MPs were unhappy with Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for denying nomination to party relatives as well as supporters.
