New Delhi, May 11 (IANS) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday expressed grief over the bus accident in Jammu and Kashmir in which at least 21 passengers were killed.
“Disturbing news from J&K (Jammu and Kashmir). Bus accident in Udhampur has saddened me. My thoughts are with families of the deceased. Prayers with the injured,” Modi said in a tweet.
“I have asked my ministerial colleague Dr. Jitendra Singh ji to stay in touch with authorities & ensure timely assistance,” he said in another tweet.
At least 21 people were killed and six others were critically injured on Monday when a passenger bus rolled into a deep gorge at Marothi in the state’s Udhampur district.
