Ranchi, Sep 12 (IANS) Jharkhand Chief Minister Arjun Munda Sunday morning went to Nagpur along with his two deputies to seek the blessings of Bharatiya Janata Party president Nitin Gadkari.

Munda travelled to Nagpur by a chartered plane along with his two deputy chief ministers – Sudesh Mahto of All Jharkhand Students Union (AJSU) and Hemant Soren, son of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) chief Shibu Soren. Munda will return to Ranchi Sunday evening.

Gadkari could not attend the swearing-in ceremony of Munda Saturday as he was busy in his hometown Nagpur with the Ganesh Chaturhi festival. Gadkari had sent a letter to Munda Saturday congratulating him and hoping he would provide a stable and good government in the state.

Munda became the eight chief minister of Jharkhand Saturday with the support of JMM, AJSU, the Janata Dal-United (JD-U) and two independent legislators.
