New Delhi, April 8 (IANS) Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi on Wednesday met his Delhi counterpart Arvind Kejriwal and urged him to name a road in the national capital after Assamese saint and social reformer Srimanta Sankardeva.

“Chief Minister of Assam called on Arvind Kejriwal at the secretariat. He requested Kejriwal to name a road in Delhi after Srimanta Sankardeva,” a statement said.
Kejriwal assured Gogoi that he would do the needful.
“It is important that great people are respected, we will certainly do it,” the Aam Aadmi Party leader said.
