Chandigarh, Oct 2 (Inditop.com) Over 13.1 million electors will decide the fate of 1,222 candidates in the election to the 90-member Haryana assembly to be held Oct 13.
Haryana’s Chief Electoral Officer Sajjan Singh said Friday that out of the total voters 7,147,100 were male while and 5,965,911 were female voters.
There are only 67 women candidates in the fray compared to 1,155 male candidates; 13,524 polling station are being set up for the assembly election, Singh added.
The Gurgaon assembly constituency had the highest number of voters at 231,350 while Narnaul assembly constituency had the lowest of voters at 110,153.
The highest number of male and female voters in any constituency was also the highest in Gurgaon with 122,661 males and 108,689 female voters respectively.
The state’s election department has offered election related information from web-based and SMS-based election help lines for voters.
Singh said the web-based helpline could be accessed on website of ceoharyana.nic.in and the users could also access their vote information by sending the exact voter ID card number to the phone number 94167913297 through SMS.
He said that a common toll free number for whole state is 155212 and any voter could seek election related information from here.
