New Delhi, July 3 (IANS) Alleging irregularities in the Delhi Judicial Services examination, Janata Dal-United president Sharad Yadav demanded re-evaluation of answer sheets of all successful candidates in 2015.

“Some unsuccessful candidates have approached me to request for re-evaluation of their exam sheets alleging favouritism in this exam,” Yadav said in a letter written to union Law Minister Sadanand Gowda.
“I am informed that the answer sheets were evaluated by those sitting judges whose close relatives took the exam,” added Yadav.
Terming it a “very serious issue”, Yadav said that corruption has spread its wings in the judicial exams.
“The issue of corruption in judiciary needs to be debated for some concrete solutions otherwise it will be a great threat to our democracy,” he said.
“In view of this, I shall be grateful if the re-evaluation of answer sheets of all 600 successful candidates be ordered so that justice is done with these candidates,” Yadav said in his letter.
