Gurgaon, July 17 (IANS) Robbers here on Friday fled with an automated teller machine (ATM) of the HDFC bank containing Rs.91,000, police said.

Before taking away the machine, located near Hero Honda Chowk on the Delhi-Gurgaon expressway, the robbers badly damaged two CCTV cameras installed in the ATM cabin.
The cameras installed were of high quality and were IT-based, said bank officials.
“We are searching for the server of the cameras. The act would have been recorded though the cameras were badly damaged,” Assistant Commissioner of Police Rajesh Kumar told IANS.
At least three to four men entered the ATM cabin and fled with the cash box after cutting it out with the help of a gas-flame cutter.
On April 10, Yes Bank’s ATM’s cash box containing Rs.2 lakh was looted in a similar manner. The ATM was located on the same Delhi-Gurgaon expressway.
“Prima facie, it was appears that the same gang has robbed HDFC ATM. We are investigating why the security guard was not present at the time of the incident,” the police officer said.
