Ranchi, May 30 (IANS) Jharkhand Chief Minister Shibu Soren met Governor M.O.H. Farookh and submitted his resignation late Sunday, a day before he was to prove his majority in the state assembly.
The Jharkhand Mukti Morcha government led by Soren was reduced to minority in the assembly after the Bharatiya Janata Party withdrew its support May 24.
