New Delhi, Jan 21 (Inditop.com) Former foreign secretary Shivshankar Menon was Thursday named the new National Security Adviser (NSA), succeeding M.K. Narayanan.
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet cleared Menon’s name and formal orders will be given in a day, said government sources.
Menon, 60, will be in the rank of minister of state.
