Lucknow, April 27 (IANS) At least six people were killed and three injured in two separate accidents on the Yamuna Expressway in Mathura early Monday, police said.
Four people were injured between the Naujheel and Sureer stretch of the expressway when a Swift car coming from the New Delhi side went out of control, turtled and jumped to the other side before ramming into a vehicle.
The four were rushed to hospital in a critical condition but did not survive.
The second accident took place near Naujheel area on the expressway when a Honda Amaze car, heading towards Noida from Agra, rammed into a truck.
Two people travelling in the car — Vikas Rajpal Singh and Minaz — both residents of Kidwainagar, Kanpur, were killed on the spot while three others suffered injuries.
