New Delhi, Dec 17 (Inditop.com) Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad Thursday opposed the movement to initiate a separate state of Telangana as a “dangerous” trend that could lead to many other divisions.
“This is dangerous� And the trend will lead to many other divisions. It will not remain limited to Andhra Pradesh and Telangana only,” Lalu Prasad said in the Lok Sabha amid noisy protests by Andhra Pradesh MPs for and against the division of the state.
“The trend will lead to many other divisions (of states) in the country,” Lalu Prasad said.
He also demanded a full fledged debate in parliament over the division of Andhra Pradesh.
