Ranchi, July 18 (Inditop.com) Two former state ministers Enos Ekka and Harinarayan Rai, evading arrests on corruption charges, were Saturday proclaimed offenders by a Jharkhand court and notices saying that they are wanted were pasted at their homes.
“If both former ministers fail to surrender then we will take over their properties including ancestral houses,” a vigilance department official told IANS.
The state vigilance department filed cases of corruption and amassing wealth through illegal means against the two after assets worth Rs.3.73 crore were found with Ekka and Rs.1.16 crore with Rai.
