Kolkata, Sep 12 (IANS) Urging all regional parties opposed to the Congress and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to come together, the Samajwadi Party (SP) Wednesday said it has already sown the seeds for forming a Third Front ahead of the 2014 Lok Sabha polls.
“During the just concluded Lok Sabha sessions when the BJP did not allow the house to function, we held a dharna outside with two-three parties,” party general secretary Mohan Singh said after moving the SP’s draft political resolution on day one of its national executive here.
“We have sowed the seeds and now they have to be nurtured to form the plants. We urge all regional parties opposed to the BJP and Congress to forge the new front,” added Singh.
