New Delhi, Dec 25 (Inditop.com) Karnataka were 265 for six in the first innings against Punjab on the second day of their Ranji Trophy quarterfinals at the Gangothri Glades cricket Ground in Mysore Friday.
At stumps, Manish Pandey was batting on 76 and Sunil Joshi 13 as Karnataka trail Punjab by 35 runs.
Karnataka bowlers did well to bowl out Punjab early in the day after the visitors added just eight runs to their overnight score of 292 for nine.
In reply, opener Robin Uthappa gave Karnataka a good start with his solid 91. Ganesh Satish (29), Rahul Dravid (36) got good starts but couldn’t go on to get a big score.
