Karachi, May 19 (Inditop.com) While six Indian players face action from their board due to discipline-breach, Pakistan team manager Yawar Saeed has given the thumbs up to his players for maintaining discipline during the World Twenty20 in the West Indies.
The Pakistani players spent three weeks in the Caribbean and the team manager has no complaints as far as discipline is concerned.
“The players showed great attitude throughout the tournament and there were no discipline-related issues during the tournament,” the Pakistan manager told reporters on the team’s arrival at the Jinnah International Airport here Wednesday.
Seven Pakistani cricketers were slapped with bans and fines due to indiscipline during their Australia tour earlier this year.
“All the players followed instructions and there was no indiscipline among the players,” the manager said.
Yawar said Shahid Afridi’s individual performance was affected because of captaincy in the recently-concluded World Twenty20.
