Karachi, April 2 (Inditop.com) Former Pakistan captain Younis Khan seems all set to take the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to court over the board’s refusal to give reasons for a ban slapped on him last month.
Younis was banned indefinitely by the PCB last month while six other leading cricketers were also severely punished in the wake of a disastrous tour of Australia during December-February.
Sources said Friday that Younis and his lawyer are not comfortable with filing an appeal with the PCB against the ban and are instead planning to file a case in court against the ban as they want to know on what grounds PCB imposed the ban.
“The PCB refused to give details of charges against Younis for the ban and told his lawyer to file an appeal against the punishment,” said the source.
“But Younis wants to know the charges against him and would seek legal help to do that.”
