London, Oct 20 (DPA) Fulham moved up to 12th in the English Premier League Monday after they beat struggling Hull City 2-0 at Craven Cottage.
Goals from Bobby Zamora and Diomansy Kamara gave Roy Hodgson’s side all three points and moved them three points clear of Hull, who remain third-from-bottom.
Neither side offered too much in the early stages but as the half wore on, the home side looked the more dangerous and took the lead just before half-time.
Damien Duff’s 25-yard shot was only parried by Boaz Myhill in the Hull goal and the ball bounced up for Zamora to head the ball in from a narrow angle.
The goal had a suspicion of offside about it and the second, on 64 minutes, was even more doubtful as Zamora fed Kamara for his first goal of the season though the striker may just have been offside.
Hull chased an equalizer but there was no class to them in the final third and Fulham cruised to a comfortable victory.
