Cape Town, April 23 (Inditop) Bangalore Royal Challengers Rahul Dravid pipped Super Kings’s Matthew Hayden to become the pride owner of the DLF IPL Orange Cap while the Purple Cap went to Deccan Chargers fast bowler Rudra Pratap Singh.
Dravid with his 27-ball 48 against Deccan Chargers Wednesday has become the leading scorer in the IPL with 134 runs from three matches at an average of 44.66. Hayden is sitting in the second place with 109 runs from two matches at an average of 54.5.
Rudra Pratap after his match winning 2-17 Wednesday night at the Newlands against Royal Challengers snatched the Purple Cap from Kumble, who slipped to the third spot.
Rudra Pratap is the leading wicket-taker with six wickets from two matches while his team mate Scot Stryis is second with five from two matches. Royal Challengers’ Kumble has five from three matches.
